Yes, I am the daughter of a farmer!..

Farmers Daughter Quilting is a home based business located in beautiful British Columbia, owned and operated by me, Karen Boerner. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my 15 year career as a professional Interior Designer, I realized it was the right time for a change.

Having a keen skill for sewing, and an eye for design, my transition to quilting has been quite natural. I have been quilting for 10 years now, and have enjoyed every minute of it. In 2006 I purchased an APQS Millennium stitch-regulated longarm quilting machine, and started my new passion, Farmers Daughter Quilting.

My studio is a smoke-free and pet-free environment, with ample space for quilts to be kept away from harmful UV light.
